    Great locks
I bought these locks for my 1920’s Cape and they look great in the new wooden windows. They work smoothly and feel like a quality piece of hardware. SRS answered all my hardware questions and delivered the locks quickly. Thanks!

Beautiful finish, great function, and machining. These sash locks are of heirloom quality and will likely be restored with the sash in a couple hundred years. If a client is looking at inferior locks I simply show them a sample of these and they never look back!

We put a lot of time and elbow grease into rehabbing our 1948 double hung wood windows. The unlacquered brass sash locks were the perfect touch and we felt really rewarded after we saw them on the windows! The quality is very good and they work really smoothly. Ordering was easy and the they arrived quickly. We couldn’t be happier. SRS is definitely our go-to website for anything hardware/house related.

I ordered these locks for my 1936 house in Dallas after freshly restoring the 15 double sash windows. The locks are in chrome and are gorgeous and beautiful to operate. I have sold that house and am restoring a second house of that period and I will be ordered these pieces of art again! Wonderful customer service, too.

You can not find a better quality product! The contractor who built his retirement house in 1935 is smiling up above. Very nice touch for my restoration project.

  9. Caroline O’Riordan (verified owner)

I have purchased these locks for two of our homes. They are of the highest quality and have a very smooth mechanism for closing. They fit like a gem for our home. This is a great company! I will be purchasing more products for our old house windows.

I purchased two packs of the storm window numbering tacks and they are excellent quality. Absolutely worth the money!

Great sash locks. I found these as the result of an online review where they said these were the best. I trusted the review.. and I’m glad I did as I am very happy with these little oil-rubbed bronze babies!

  12. Peter S (verified owner)

I was looking for sturdy, high-quality sash locks to replace one that was stripping out of a window. This looked promising, and it was indeed way higher quality manufacturing than run-of-the-mill locks. And the install was straightforward! We got oil-rubbed bronze to match other hardware in the house and they look good.

A visitor commented what wonderful sash locks [we ordered for you], so nice and heavy. They are just what I was looking for so you can’t imagine how pleased I am.

"Hi Justin Thanks so much for sending the replacement blades for my Proscraper. I’ve been working on the exterior of my Victorian recently and it’s a wonderful tool for prepping the woodwork for repainting. I’d misplaced it and had been working with my other plain steel scrapers for a while. Dealing with the old, super hard paint meant constantly sharpening the blades with a file. Collecting the chips on plastic for disposal was no joy either. The Proscraper hooked up to my vacuum took care of both problems. The products that your company carry are uniquely geared to keeping historic windows in service and appreciated by their owners. Your hardware should give a lifetime of service. Thanks for your help and expertise in the past and I wish you the best in the years ahead. Russ Powell Island Housewrights Corp. Proscraper Vacuum Scraper with Tungsten Carbide Blade"
